We offer two kinds of travel programs.

Non-participatory - 

Stay with us in the village. You would
- have all meals with the host
- get a chance to observe the rural program.
- do local sightseeing in Dehradun*.
- have meditation and yoga lessons.
- visit the homes of the villagers.
- trek to nearby temples.

*Please see Uttrakhand/Dehradun on Wikipedia.  We would be happy to suggest spots for you to visit.  Transport can be arranged on payment.

Participatory –

You will stay in the village and be a part of our programs.  You would have decent, clean boarding and lodging.  You would
-have all meals
-get a chance to observe the rural program
-visit the homes of the villages
-participate in the rural program

You would be required to fill an application form and acceptance

Teaching Program – You would have to pledge at least a month of tutoring, in English, Math, Sciences to grades III to VIII.

Medical Outreach Program – You have to pledge fifteen days and would assist the doctors on the Health Program.  You may also be required to shadow doctors in a local hospital to see actual health care facilities in our region.

Design Program – You would be required to come and work with our groups.  These would be mainly in hand knits, wool textiles, natural dyes, products with non-timber produce.

Knitting Program – You would be required to update records and do quality control.

The Participatory program has reduced cost of boarding and lodging. A fixed percent from the Non-Participatory program goes towards our rural program.
